What’s on offer?
We are excited to announce that The Fish Factory are hiring an Accounts Clerk. Working within our Fish Factory office, this role will work closely with our accounts and bookkeeping team. Taking responsibility for fully functional accounts payable (AP) & accounts receivable (AR), the role offers the right candidate an opportunity to learn accounts within our diverse business and grow their experience. Playing a pivotal role to maintain our accounts, this opportunity will allow the successful candidates to engage in administrative accounting tasks & learn critical software vital to daily operations. Working within an office environment, the successful candidates will be a quick learner, eager to take on responsibility and seek growth within our company.
Your role
This is a full-time position, working a Monday to Friday roster. Early starts and early finishes are attributed to this role due to the nature of our business. You will join an established team of office staff, supported by the bookkeeper. The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development in the role, with close mentoring and coaching. You will be joining an established team of office personnel, supervised by the executive assistant. The successful candidates will have strong communication skills and an eye for detail.
The main responsibilities of the position are:
- Data entry
- Invoice processing
- Fully functioning accounts receivable & accounts payable
- Record keeping
- Administration support where necessary
- General support to management team
Work environment
Work is primarily conducted in an office environment. Early starts are associated with this role.

- Previous experience in an accounts/book-keeping role
