Position Overview: As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a vital role in supporting our conveyancing team with various accounting tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage vendor and customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and records.
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
- Support the team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MYOB and other accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Property industry experience a bonus but not mandatory for the role
