AddressWe are on the lookout for an experienced Management Accountant for an opportunity on a 6-month basis with the potential of extension.
The Management Accountant will play a key role in providing financial insights and analyses to drive business decisions.
This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure financial goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prepare and assist with the budget process.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform monthly General Ledger Reconciliations
- Undertake financial modelling.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate, prepare and manage taxation obligations, reporting and compliance, BAS/GST, FBT and Payroll Tax Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Membership of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia or an equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and relevant legislation
- Knowledge of TechOne Finance system.
- Knowledge of financial modelling.
- Knowledge of contemporary management accounting practices.
- Accounting experience in preparation of budgets and reports reconciliation within a complex commercial environment.
- High work ethic, commitment to professional presentation, flexibility in the workplace and ethical practice.
