SCF are currently seeking a competent, highly motivated Accounts Receivable and Payable Officer with proven experience supporting Finance functions within medium to large organisations.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have gained significant experience (3-5 years) in similar accounts positions. You will have:
- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking & Account Administration
- Familiarity with MYOB Exo preferred or an ERP system
- Knowledge of financial processes and working.
- Proven record of showing and exercising initiative.
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, especially in Excel.
- The ability to work in a collaborative team environment and individually.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with strong organisational and time management skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer credit applications including credit checks.
- Daily banking, bank allocations and reconciliations of customer accounts.
- Debt collection, which requires direct communication with customers.
- Month-end tasks.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports for internal distribution.
- Maintaining the existing Personal Property Security Register (PPSR).
- Assisting in the payable functions.
- Assisting in hedging and reconciling Foreign Exchange Currencies (training provided).
