Full time opportunityWork in the beautiful WhitsundaysAccess to a range of Employee BenefitsAbout the RoleThis role works under the guidance of the Finance Manager in the Whitsundays region and works closely with the wider SeaLink Finance team to provide financial services for the Whitsundays operations.The role will assist in the collation of information used in strategic decision making, provide accounting services and to provide hands on support for the day-to-day finance transactions such as accounts payable and receivable transactions, daily takings from operations, reconcile bank balance to the accounting ledger and corporate credit card/ petty cash transactions, prepare Payroll Tax, BAS (including fuel tax credits), PAYG, FBT and lodge returns and process payments to ATO, OSR, WorkCover.The role will also support the Finance Manager with EOM and EOFY processes including
general ledger journals, balance sheet and payroll reconciliations.About YouIdeally you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in business, accounting, commerce, project management or equivalent and a CA or CPA qualification is highly desirable.You will also have the following:
