We want you to use and experience our facilities first hand, so we also offer complimentary club membership.About the roleNext Gen’s Finance team is centrally located in Adelaide, and we're looking for an experienced Accounts Officer to join us in this support role. Reporting to and working closely with the Group Accountant, the Accounts Officer will be a pivotal team member in assisting Next Gen with its administrative requirements. What you’ll be doingYour responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:End-to-end accounts payable for multi-site operations including detailed supplier invoice interpretation and corresponding data entry;Assisting with accounts receivable;Supporting the Group Accountant with periodical tasks;Systems maintenance to ensure accuracy of records and database integrity;Assisting with systems migration and process improvement/modernisation; andAdministrative and general support duties as required.What skills and qualities do you need to have?To be successful in the role you will:Have extensive experience in similar roles;Be proficient in the detailed interpretation and manual data entry of a high volume of supplier invoices;Be proficient in using general ledger chart of accounts and applying associated business rules with respect to data entry;Have a sound understanding of accounting for GST with respect to supplier invoices;Be proficient in using accounting software applications, with experience using MYOB Exo Business advantageous;Be proficient in using the Microsoft Office software suite, in particular Outlook, Excel and Word;Pride yourself in your high level of attention to detail and accuracy;Maintain strong communication skills;Use your initiative to support the Finance team; andWork efficiently and pride yourself in meeting required deadlines.If this sounds like you, then apply today by submitting your Resume and Cover Letter via our Career's Site.
