About the opportunity
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for managing and executing key financial functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and reconcile Supplier statements.
- Ensure timely payments
- Communicate effectively with Suppliers regarding payment inquiries.
Accounts Receivable:
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Experience in dealing with the major supermarkets will be highly regarded.
- Provide excellent customer service to address invoicing inquiries.
Payroll:
- Compile and process payroll data accurately and on time.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain organised and accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Prepare financial reports as needed.
About you
Ideally you will have 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role, prior relationship experience with major supermarkets, experience with Pronto ERP will be highly regarded.

- A solid understanding of basic accounting as well as accounts payable and receivable principles.
- Ability to interpret data, identify issues and problem solve.
- Effective time management skills, ability to prioritise and manage competing demands.
- Great attention to detail but also a sense of urgency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
