Established in 1993 Inspec is a leading provider, offering a broad range of services. Our equipment support ranges from maintenance, repairs, fabrication, blast and paint, rebuilds, labour hire and product sales. We’re driven by relationships and our clients include all the major names in mining such as BHP, Glencore, Thiess, Peabody and Stanmore.

Our Mackay heavy workshop currently houses our main office and specialises in small to large heavy earthmoving equipment repairs and component rebuilds. We offer midlife to full overhauls on equipment such as CAT 777-793 off road haul trucks, CAT D7-D11 track dozers, CAT 16-24 graders, Komatsu 830 and CAT 6060 excavators. All units that Inspec overhaul are conducted as per the OEM specifications for each specific unit to ensure the longevity of the component. We also transport all equipment and machines from site to our Mackay workshop.

The Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer to join our office team, working Monday to Friday at our head office in Paget. As Accounts Officer, you will take care of tasks such as account reconciliations, maintaining accounts receivables files and records and entering supplier and subcontractor invoices into the system. In addition you will prepare and process invoices for payment, open jobs and assist with WIP and assist in general financial management and analysis.
