The Opportunity
We are seeking driven, and motivated accounts professionals who enjoy working within a dyamic and fast paced service. Currently, there are various permanent and fixed term positions available across the Accounting Operations Branch.
Level 3 Accounts Officer – In this position, you will perform a range of accounting functions, which include assisting with the provision of financial services, such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, assets accounting, banking and credit card processing. You will ensure the quality, reliability and data integrity of the Department’s financial information.
Level 4 Senior Accounts Officer – In this position, you will monitor, prepare and oversee various accounting processes and reconciliations across accounts payable, receivables or banking or credit cards, to ensure they are in accordance with approved policy and procedures and processed in a timely manner.
The Accounting Operations Branch, within Finance Directorate, is a major corporate function responsible for ensuring transactional processing across multiple legal entities making up the Department of Communities, is performed according to policy, procedure and on time.
