In light of our current restructuring, we are actively seeking a new addition to our dynamic Finance team in the role of Accounts Officer. This position is responsible for Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and general bookkeeping duties within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all accounts payable/receivable transactions
• Reconcile accounts receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Assist with end-of-month/yearly procedures
• Assist with reconciliation of the general ledger and bank accounts
• Maintain accruals and prepayment schedules and adjustments
• Prepare timely and accurate reports
• Assisting with the credit-control process when required

Skills and experience

• Highly organised and able to deal with multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
• Exceptional data entry accuracy with persistent high-level attention to detail
• Excellent financial systems experience and Advanced Excel
• Minimum 2 years experience working in general bookkeeping roles 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment
