Territory Trade Services (ttsBuilt) has an industry-leading reputation for providing trades and construction services in remote mining camps and other remote areas of Australia, and we have a substantial residential maintenance and renovation division servicing the public housing community throughout Metropolitan Adelaide.
We now have an exciting opening for a Finance Officer to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Officer will deal with all aspects of the financial affairs of the business, including:
- Accounts receivable and payable
- Financial accounting and month-end reporting
- Reconciliations
- BAS preparation
- Timesheets/payroll
In addition, the Finance Officer will be expected to provide administrative support to a Busy Construction Business.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Minimum Diploma qualifications and/or experience in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
- Experience in the construction industry preferred
- Strong computer literacy skills, with experience in the day-to-day use of MS Office Suite, ideally at an advanced level
- Working knowledge of Xero (essential), AroFlo and Simpro (preferred)
- Strong financial reporting and analysis skills
- Be a recognised team player and have the ability to work in a team-based environment
- A high level of ethics and understanding of confidentiality
- Exceptional oral and written skills, along with strong listening and interpretation skills
- A professional level of personal presentation
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to effectively multi-task in a busy environment
- Ability to prioritise tasks
Due to the nature of the role, a National Police Certificate is required. A criminal history will not necessarily prevent you from the role, and any criminal history will be carefully considered against the requirements of the role.
