Accounts Officer

This Australian owned business has been in operation for the past 90 years and has built a reputation for providing high quality products to the hospitality industry. They have closeknit head office team and are due to continual business growth they now require an experienced Accounts Allrounder/Finance Officer to join their team based in Mulgrave. MYOB experience highly desirable!

Reporting to the Office Manager, this role will be responsible for:

Full function Accounts Payable

• Processing invoices
• Account reconciliations.
• Supplier queries
• Assisting with payment runs
• Processing employee expenses

Full function Accounts Receivable

• Generating invoices
• Banking and allocations of payments made.
• Generating monthly aged debtors’ spreadsheets and maintaining current notes
• Collection of outstanding accounts

Bank account reconciliations.
Assisting with month end
Assisting with general office duties

Skills and experience required
An experienced Accounts Allrounder/Finance Officer/Bookkeeper
Experience with MYOB is highly desirable and Excel spreadsheets.
You will enjoy working in a small, cohesive team where everyone pitches in
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication skills
