Our client is an acquisitive, highly successful, and established traffic management organisation. They are a well-recognized and trusted brand, and they pride themselves on being a specialist and a leader in their field. Their Shared Services team of AP, AR and Payroll is growing and they are looking to hire an experienced AP Officer who is happy to support the team with other duties.
Key duties will include:
- Full function Accounts Payable,
- Scanning & verification of invoices,
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure any discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices are resolved,
- Maintaining the prepayment schedule and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded,
- Dealing with inquiries from a range of sources across the whole business,
- Reconciling accounts and assisting with payment runs,
- Managing the AP email inbox for a range of queries;
- Assisting the AR Team with billing and banking tasks, and
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
- At least 2 years’ prior experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrate initiative and take responsibility
