About the business and the role
As a key member of the accounts team, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable processing and provide support for other accounts functions as listed below.
We are looking for two individuals for this job-share role, to cover 40 hours per week. The hours are suitable for either school hours or full days depending on the applicant’s availability. Individuals returning after parental leave or looking to reduce hours from full time to part time are encouraged to apply.

Job tasks and responsibilities
This is a hands-on role, and duties will include but are not limited to:
Accounts
- Responsible for processing a high volume of payable invoices. This includes identifying pricing discrepancies against raised purchase orders and coordinating resolution.
- Assist with reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Assist with month end reconciliations
- Assist with Accounts Receivable payment processing and reconciliation
- Assist with Payroll – data entry.
Administration
- Scanning and computerized filing
- General administration e.g. copying, collating, binding etc
- Banking
- Mail collection and distribution
- Maintaining stationery and office supplies
- Assist with marketing requirements as required
- Taking calls and other reception duties as required
Skills and experience
- 4 years accounts experience in a similar role – must have Accounts Payable experience of particular importance understanding inventory pricing.
- Xero experience preferred but not required
- Strong MS Office program knowledge with, at a minimum, intermediate excel knowledge
- Can do attitude and the ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills
- Well organized, able to multitask and flexible to adjust to changing priorities
- Current Drivers Licence
