An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance Department.
The Finance Department provides services covering FP&A, incorporating budgeting and financial analysis, Financial Accounting, incorporating Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (patient billing and sundry debtors); Private Practice administration, Cash Management and Investments. The Finance Department is located on within walking distance of the main Austin campus.
About the role
The position, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor will include day to day Accounts Payables activities such as processing invoices, ensuring they adhere to Austin Health policies and procedures; being the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholder relating to supplier payments; performing vendor account reconciliations, including investigation and following up discrepancies.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated 2 years+ experience working with high volume invoices
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
Sound analytical skills, ability to interpret data and problem solve
Ability to work effectively as a team member, multitask and meet to strict deadlines
