Purpose of the Role
To assist in the full key administration within the Accounts Payable functions and provide support in tasks within the Finance functions of the Auto & General companies.
Position Accountabilities
Accounts Payable functions including:
Processing all supplier invoices Employee expense reimbursements Corporate credit card uploads, petty cash reimbursements Ensuring all tax invoices submitted Supplier enquiries Reconciliation of supplier statements Ensure policies and procedures are complied with to ensure a high level of integrity Continuous improvement of Accounts Payable processes Assist in Adhoc Accounts tasks
Ongoing development of procedures to improve current processes that would benefit the business through improved efficiency. Assist in the preparation of annual external audit and internal audits. Assist in End of Financial Year close off. Assist in business projects as required by the Accounts Manager. Take all reasonable directions from leaders to comply with the organisation’s workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols. WHS is everyone’s responsibility
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience in a large office environment. Understanding of GST requirements. Proficient and accurate data entry skills. Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and Gmail and an integrated financial software package. Finance One and Concur experience desirable. Attention to detail is a must, excellent time and self-management skills, demonstrating an ability to take responsibility, team player, logical and organised. Ability to work with a varied range of people.
