More about the role:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for managing the overall Accounts Payable function. The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Processing invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy of all payables sub ledger records and following up on outstanding invoices with vendors.

Ensure all payments are processed in line with internal control procedures.

Proactively assist with month end processes including ensuring all bank payments and direct debits have been processed, all transfers posted, Accounts Payable sub ledger reconciled.

Opening and correct distribution of mail, entering cheques and cash received into daily receipts register and banking of cash and cheques received.

Who we are looking for:

For this role, we are looking for a pro-active and detail orientated individual with a mix of the following experience, qualifications, and skills:

At least three years of Accounts Payable experience.

Knowledge on general accounting procedures and principles.

Experience with ERP systems or another accounting software.

Intermediate Excel and Microsoft skills.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills
