A little bit about the role
As Endeavour continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Payable Officer
The role will include:
- Effectively manage accounts through the Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Process invoices daily using the Kofax platform and review Dynamics AX errors for accurate processing of invoices, petty cash, staff expenses, and credit card reconciliations.
- Format and upload consolidated invoice journals in Excel.
- Weekly processing and payment of invoices, petty cash, and staff expenses.
- Address and resolve internal customer issues related to incorrect Kofax submissions.
- Reconcile vendor accounts to statements and manage emails in all Accounts Payable inboxes.
- Coordinate the Accounts Payable system, including vendor details, payment records, and filing systems.
- Maintain strong internal customer and supplier relationships, ensuring accurate and accessible accounts records, timely creditor payments, and an accurate audit trail of transactions.
What will you bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- An ability to lead using knowledge, skills and experience to provide insights and guidance
- Take ownership of change messages, communicating them positively and authentically to others
- proficient in general accountancy practices & principles
- strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes & best practices
- excellent attention to detail & accuracy
- ability to work independently & as part of a team
