Hubergroup is a well-established, global organization who boasts a strong reputation as market leader in the supply of high-quality packaging and specialty printing inks and consumables.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Accounts Payable to join our dynamic Finance Team on a Part Time basis based at Dandenong South, Melbourne. 

Report directly to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities will include:

• Full end to end Accounts Payable functions including: 
• - Reviewing & processing supplier invoices for accuracy and authorization to pay (Invoices for overseas purchases are processed by Inventory Manager) 
• - Communicate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies 
• - Credit card and staff reimbursement expense claim
• - Maintenance and keeping supplier information up to date in the SAP system
• - Managing weekly payments and ad hoc urgent payments
• - Supplier account reconciliations and general ledger coding
• - Managing suppliers/ stakeholders relationship
• AR: mailing statements, customer accounts are maintained and paid within terms; if not, monitor and follow up with overdue invoices 
• Managing local purchase orders and goods receipting in relation to the local purchase (>90% overseas purchase)
• Streamlining of processes and system efficiencies 
• Back up to customer service when require
• Other ad hoc general reporting and administrative tasks (eg: filing)

 The ideal candidate will have: 

• Basic understanding of accounting requirements
• Eye of an eagle for attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude
• Highly motivated, solution-orientated individual with an adaptable team work style
• Good communication skills
• Accounts Payable experience preferable 
• SAP experience ideal but not essential 
• Intermediate level of computer skills (Microsoft office: Excel, Word and Outlook skills)
• Immediate start
