We are seeking an experience Accounts & Payroll Officer to join our Head Office Team based in Hope Valley. Starting as casual with a view to permanent, candidates would be highly motivated, reliable, and punctual and be available to start immediately.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager - Finance & Administration, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;
- End to end accounts payable & receivable duties
- Processing weekly payroll for 2 business units (approx 70 staff)
- Maintain & update Customer and Supplier details & registers
- Assist with answering incoming call & directing to correct site or department
- Communicate with customers, suppliers & internal team members to resolve accounts enquiries
- Managing Accounts email Inboxes
The roster:
Monday to Friday - between 8.00am and 5:00pm
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient with MYOB Accountright Live & Microsoft Outlook / Excel
- Ability to prioritise, multitask & follow instructions with minimal supervision
- Advanced problem solving & investigative skills
- Exceptional communication skills, combined with professional presentation
- Excellent attention to detail & accuracy in data entry & financial record-keeping
- Confident phone manner, along with positive & professional attitude with the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
- Excellent time management skills with working to tight deadlines
- Valid WA Drivers License & reliable transportation
- Previous experience in the waste management industry (Desirable)
