Searching for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to Join a Large utilities business in Melbourne's CBD on short term 3-4 month contract.
Position DescriptionAs an Accounts Receivable Officer reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, including:
- Allocation of payments
- Reconciliations
- Setting up payment plans
- Conducting daily collection calls
- Evaluating credit applications
- Establishing new accounts
- Generating debtors reports
- Additionally, you may be assigned other ad hoc duties by your manager.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess prior experience in a Credit and/or Accounts Receivable Officer position, demonstrating the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial, along with proficiency in reconciliation, negotiation, and debt collection. Previous experience in the Energy sector is advantageous, and attention to detail is essential.
