Job description

Purpose:

The  position of Accounts Receivable& Administration Assistant has become available within Tyson Foods Australia, reporting directly to the Finance Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager & HR Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

Administrative Support (General)/ Accounts Receivable 

This role is on Monday & Tuesday with possiblility of half day Wednesday.

  • Work in collaboration with other staff to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of both the office and AFC business.
  • Ensure the secure storage of all confidential corporate information for which the position is responsible.
  • Prepare journal entries as required.
  • Prepare cash forecast for customers.
  • Download statements for reporting.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • General ledger account reconciliations as required.
  • Other duties as required by Accounts / Finance Manager
  • SAP experience is a must for this position
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages, excel, word, outlook
  • Raise customer invoices as required and before weekly & monthly cut off
  • Receipt customer payments in each currency
  • Ensure customer account payments are received within their trading terms.
  • Collect overdue account payments.
  • Sales for shopify – raise invoice & Bank reconciliation
  • Process credit applications

Administrative Support Accounts Payable

  • Process and reconcile corporate card transactions.
  • Assist Accounts Payable when necessary

Administrative Support – Continuous Improvement – HR 

  • Maintaining the training matrix, updating with current personnel
  • Assist with maintaining of facility work-instructions including reformatting and reviewing on a regular basis with any updates and changes as required.
  • Administration support with the training coordinator as required.
  • Assist Human Resources in preparation for inductions.
  • Assist in booking interviews and pre-employment medicals.
  • Assist in stock take of boots and uniforms as required.
  • Assist Maintenance Planner & Scheduler with stock takes and administration support.

Please ensure that you read the above position requirements for this role, on Monday & Tuesday you will be working in Accounts Receivable. Wednesday Thursday Friday you will be assisting the COntinous Improvement team as well as the HR team and the maintenance team. Hours can be up to 38 hours per week, but this role is a part time position.
