Job Title: Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant
Job Type: Full Time
We are currently seeking a Full time Bookkeeper/Administration Assistant for the Brothers Cairns Group who operate two licensed venues and Rugby League Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mature and friendly individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail to join our successful operation.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Processing of invoices and payments for Brothers Group including Football Operations
- Processing of daily banking entries and bank reconciliation
- Reconciliation of Accounts
- Assist team members EOM financial reporting for all entities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholder in relation to relevant enquiries
The successful applicant will possess:
- A mature and professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to change and learn new skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Demonstratable Experience and Qualifications:
- High level of data entry skills – speed and accuracy of input
- Demonstrated accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations
- Strong level of written and verbal communication skills
- A proven track record in a similar role
- Experience with MYOB Advance, Microsoft Excel and other accounting packages
- Understanding of accounting principles
