This is a great opportunity for an Accounts/Admin Assistant to become a vital part of a small, established, and successful family-owned and run company. GCHomes has been in the residential home-building sector for over a decade.
We are currently seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to join our friendly team at our Labrador office.
The role:
The responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
- Permanent/full-time position - Monday – Friday.
- Accounts receivable.
- Accounts payable.
- Reception - answering incoming calls and in-person enquiries.
- Liaise with a variety of departments across the Company.
- Office Admin -
- data entry.
- document preparation.
- maintain office supplies.
- sort and distribute mail.
- general administration tasks.
- receive and sort mail.
The person:
You will have an inquiring mind with the desire to understand the business and the ability to stay informed in an environment where there is so much going on. You will also possess the following:
- Experience in accounts receivable/payable.
- Excellent numeracy skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Xero accounting software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Hold a current driver's license.
