Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is looking for a dedicated and experienced nurse to join our Acute Pain Service team.

About the role
As part of the Acute Pain Service, the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) will provide consultation service to post operative patients across the facility.
The CNC will provide expert clinical advice to patients, carers and other health care professionals within a defined specialty through the delivery of specialist consultant service which:
- Develops implements and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
- Provides leadership in the ongoing development of clinical practice.
- Initiates and utilises findings of research in the provision of clinical services.
- Contributes to the development and delivery of specialty related education programs.
- Participates in formal processes for the strategic and operational planning for the clinical service.
We are looking for someone who has
- Current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 3 years in a related field
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
