We are seeking an experienced individual with excellent knowledge in
the areas of business administration and system data management.
The Rose Hotel deals with high volume trading on a daily basis and requires someone who is highly organised and brings solutions not problems. The successful candidate would be the Admin Assistant reporting to the Admin Manager, working in the venue and assisting when needed in the the motel reception. Attention to detail is absolutely paramount. This is a casual role 20 -30 hours a week, with an immediate start required.

The Rose is a landmark, heritage-listed pub in Bunbury delivering approachable family dining, premium pub fare and a relaxed front bar, for locals and visitors to enjoy - along with a classic country motel for guests from around the world, and a convenient liquor store showcasing the best of the South West.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect, count, bank cash takings
- Balance float bags, restock change for house safe.
- Takings reconciliation using H&L (POS system) and Xero.
- Liaise with Admin Manager re discrepancies.
- Promptly respond to questions and requests from Admin Manager.
- Organise & file invoices for ease of reference by manager.
- Update spreadsheets for weekly meetings.
- RMS (Motel system) to ensure bookings are received and paid for.
- Guest Liaison and Customer service duties when required.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Must have extensive PC experience.
- Must have used Xero, Excel, Word, Email.
- Must have Accounts payable/receivable experience
- H&L POS experience preferable.
- A minimum of 4 years experience in an administration role
- Demonstrated experience in a small business environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to function in fast paced demanding situations
- A knowledge of hospitality in an administration function is valued but
not integral. - Valid driver’s license a must.
- WA Police Clearance (no older than 6months)
