The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Mike Carney Toyota Team for an Administration All Rounder, with an immediate start.

Mike Carney Toyota is one of the largest automotive dealerships in regional Australia, employing over 140 local staff and delivering over 2500 New & Used Vehicles to our Guest’s each year. Mike Carney Toyota is a key contributor to the North Queensland economy, whilst providing sponsorship and support to many local sporting & community organisations. Our Dealership is experiencing exceptional growth, due to our strong market leadership and fantastic model line-up, that is recognised globally for its Quality, Reliability & Durability.

We are looking for a motivated, forward thinking individual, who has a strong work ethic, great interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for detail. In this role, you will provide Administrative support to our busy New Vehicle Department. This is an ideal position for an individual looking to begin their career within the Automotive Industry.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Sending purchase orders to Pre-Delivery for parts fitment
  • Creating invoices for new vehicle sales
  • Updating delivery schedule for new vehicle sales
  • Archive completed deal packs at end of month
  • Audit of New Vehicle deals, identifying missing and incomplete item for rectification
  • General Data entry 
  • Covering Reception for lunch breaks, leave etc
  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the relevant department
  • Creating purchase orders for damaged vehicles and send invoices to Warranty Clerk
  • Scan and index deals into Managepoint
  • Additions to Sales Stock book
  • Assist Registration Clerk in busy periods & absence
  • Provide support to Stock Controller processing Swaps, Rental vehicles & general fleet administration tasks

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional outlook & friendly disposition
  • Be a team player
  • Strong Computer Literacy, experience with MS Excel, Outlook & SAP
