About Us:
MPL is a small niche Registered Training Organisation delivering Pest control Training across Australia.
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Student Support and administration officer to join our Yennora based training team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Training Manager, this role will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the training team with sales and administration tasks.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Course sales - responding to inquiries (in person, by phone, email etc.), providing enrolment information, following up and providing responses in a timely manner
- Processing payments and issuing invoices
- Student enrolment & Intake - primary point of contact for students on issues including, but not limited to general course queries, class times and payments
- Maintaining the Student Management System VETRAK database system to ensure details of enrolments in line with best practice guidelines and methodologies are recorded accurately and completely including adding attachments and completing file notes of any and all student interactions
- Maintaining student records collating and uploading new submissions and resubmissions for students’ assessments
- Making travel arrangements for trainers (e.g. air ticket purchases and invoice uploading to a system to meet the ATO’s requirements)
- Maintaining all expenditure records and assisting the accountant in the reconciliation of Xero
- Ordering materials for the office and Students
- Sending and collecting mail
- An ability to ensure the safety of co-workers by adopting safe working practices and compliance with WH&S policies and procedures
About You
Minimum 1 year office experience in similar role
Previous experience in sales and customer service
Experience with Xero
Experience with VETRAK (not essential)
Demonstrated computer skills and experience in working with Microsoft office (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
Organisational skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work according to strict deadlines
Flexibility and willingness to undertake a wide range of office tasks
Above all you will be flexible, have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
