Skyline Higher Education Australia (SHEA) is an Institute of Higher Education that seeks to inspire students to achieve academic success and create positive socio-economic change through innovation, science, technology, and collaboration.
SHEA is registered as an Institute of Higher Education under the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Act 2011 and is regulated by Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). It is also an approved CRICOS education provider under the ESOS Act 2000.
SHEA currently offers Bachelor of Information Technology(BIT), Bachelor of Information Technology specialising in Cybersecurity and Bachelor of Information Technology specialising in Artificial Intelligence and will be looking at adding and offering further new courses in the future.
Role Objective:
To provide administrative support to the Operations Department and exemplary services to international students at Skyline Higher Education Australia (SHEA). This role reports to the Registrar.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Operations Department, for the management of all student and staff administrative needs
- Being a friendly and welcoming contact point in a student-centred environment
- Ensure student requests and enquiries are addressed in a timely and professional manner
- Follow up and liaise with students in relation to their studies or any outstanding administrative issues
- Maintain student records in accordance with the student management system operating guides
- Assist in conducting the regular college orientation sessions
- Provide support to the Academic Team as directed
- Conduct all duties in accordance with the College's policies and procedures
- Liaise with other departments within the organization and agents as required
- Assist with other general duties as directed by the Operations Manager
Selection Criteria:
- At least a Diploma level qualification in Business or any other relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent computing skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Effective time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all administrative activities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
- Education industry experience would be an advantage
