The Company 

Omni-Care is a family owned business providing home care supports to people who are elderly or who have a disability. We are looking for a proficient and energetic Administrative Assistant to come join our team. The Administration team currently consists of three admin assistants and two full time receptionists who are committed to excellent client outcomes. The Role

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for providing essential support to our care coordination team who are responsible for rostering client services and providing support. This role reports to the Administration Team Leader and is a stepping stone to a career in other areas of the business. 

The position involves setting up new clients, and changing client information and task lists as their needs change. You will also be managing and archiving client files and completing database maintenance. These tasks ensure that the information provided to our support workers is accurate and means that they are able to deliver individualised care resulting in excellent customer service outcomes. In addition, you will relieve our reception team covering lunch breaks and various other administrative tasks on a roster with the team. 

In order to be successful for this role you will need exceptional attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to learn and take on new tasks. We also require individuals who have superior time management and organisational skills with a positive attitude. Good computer skills are essential with a minimum average typing speed of 40 wpm with excellent accuracy. Knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Ideally you will have experience in administration and\or a Cert III in Business Administration.
