What are we looking for?
We are seeking a punctual, enthusiastic, and efficient Administration Assistant to join our administration team. This position is a fulltime position and will be based in our Mildura office.
Our ideal candidates will have the following:
- At least 3 years working within an administrative role, ideally within the building industry
- Ability to work in a team
- High-quality communication
- Great writing skills
- Tendency to be proactive and self-motivated
Daily tasks expected in this role are:
Here are some of the things you’d be expected to do, day-to-day:
- Performing general administrative duties including answering incoming phone calls, photocopying, emailing, and filing documents
- Preparing and managing correspondence, reports, and documents
- Liaising with internal staff located in all offices and provide administration support to all team members as required
- Providing general advice to clients about the application process
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders as required including communication with clients throughout the building permit process
- Creating and lodging new building permit applications within our software program
- Updating and maintaining databases
- Lodging statutory documentation with all relevant authorities
- Taking inspection bookings and organizing inspection schedules so they are efficient and practical.
- Issuing of Building Permits, Amending Building Permits, Issue Occupancy Permits, and associated documentation.
- Preparation of Tax Invoices with our Xero accounting system
- Prepare and send Fee Proposals.
