We are currently seeking an Administration Assistant for a residential aged care home in Torquay.
The role of Administration/Rostering is to:
• Provide customer service and support to consumers, staff and management.
• Work along side a supportive team
• You will be committed to providing high quality, professional care that is client centered.
Work location: onsite in Torquay
Work hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am till 16:00, permanent part time negotiable
The successful applicant will have:
• Excellent communication and general administration skills
• Previous experience in administration in Aged Care is desirable
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised
• Effective time management
• A sound understanding of the Aged Care Sector, including guidelines and legislation
• A strong interest and passion for working within residential aged care
• Knowledge and experience of petty cash, payroll and accounts
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office and using rostering systems, with experience in replacing staff for unplanned leave
Payroll and rostering
Responsible for:
-Maintaining rostering system and payroll
-Ensure adequate staffing
-Encourage staff to be accountable
-Identify gaps within the workforce and assist with onboarding of new employees
-Proactively engage with the Management team to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of the service and set KPIs
-To be able to attend to other administrative tasks as required
