YCSS are a highly professional and well-respected Therapeutic Out of Home Care provider who have been operating in South East Queensland for 18 years.

YCSS supports a range of different placement options including respite care, crisis/emergency accommodation and longer-term placements which fosters professional growth for our Residential Youth Workers.

About you:

• You are resilient, confident and are a strong team player.

• You have excellent time management skills and can prioritise and juggle tasks dependant on the requirements and direction from your manager.

• You have strong written, face to face and verbal communication skills and can communicate well with a variety of departments and employees.

• You have excellent working knowledge of Word suite, database maintenance and basic IT systems.

• You have an attention to detail.

• Have a can-do attitude and are willing to work within a team environment to achieve positive outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

• Current Blue Card or ability to obtain.

• Current Queensland, unrestricted Driver Licence.

• Ability to complete and pass a Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women - Licensed Care Service Criminal History screening check (LCS). Please note that this check can take 4 weeks to be processed.

About the Role:

• The Administration Assistant will form an integral part of the Finance and Administration team, providing support to the Executive Manager and the Finance and Administration team.

• They will provide a wide range of administrative services to the Finance and Administration team to help meet the organisational needs.

• Undertake all general administrative duties for the Finance and Administration, including but not limited to digital filing, filing, photocopying, mail, scanning, binding, laminating, formatting of documents etc.

• Provide support to the Roster Officer and assist when required or as directed by the Executive Manager.

• Respond to Administration enquiries, referring matters to the appropriate team member when necessary.

• Receive and greet stakeholders and visitors.

• Prepare for meetings when required, including preparation of food, documents, and other duties as directed by the Executive manager

• Assist with light cleaning duties, including tidying of kitchens, taking bins out and other duties as directed by the Executive Manager.

• As required, assist other Finance and Administration team members in the performance of their role consistent with your skills, competencies, and training.

• Follow and provide any other duties as reasonable requested and directed by the Executive Manager, including any ad-hoc duties as required.

• Willing and able to be part of an On call roster over a 24 hour period (approximately 4 days a month, depending on other staff availability)
