This vacancy is intially for a 6 month perm and will work as part of the Front Office Team to greet, register and guide clients who access the centre.
Tasks may range from -
- Greeting, registering and supporting people who attend the centre and providing positive and uplifting customer service;
- Building rapport with people in order to best meet their needs;
- Providing general information about 3rd Space and other services to visitors;
- Attending and responding to incoming phone calls and emails and maintaining records;
- Directing any issues that arise ( including critical incidents) to the most relevant staff member;
- Making appointments with Services Team staff for people who need case management support;
- Assisting volunteers to carry out reception duties; and
- Engaging the IT helpdesk when needed.
The role involves working on a four-on, four-off roster, including weekend until January until July. Ideally you are compassionate by nature and and can provide disadvantaged people with respect and support. You enjoy working in a team, can multi-task, prioritize, are calm when faced with chaos, and enjoy working as part of a team
