Clayfield College is seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to provide essential administrative support to the Head of Secondary and the Director of Marketing, Communications, and Engagement. This multifaceted role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s activities, particularly those related to Secondary School events, communications, and the weekly College newsletter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Secondary School events.
- Organise Secondary Assemblies, including certificates and pockets, schedules, PowerPoints, seating arrangements, and liaise with relevant staff and students for seamless presentations.
- Draft and disseminate correspondence on behalf of the Head of Secondary.
- Collate articles, prepare, and distribute the weekly College newsletter.
- Gather information and maintain handbooks.
- Collation of the Secondary School Collegian articles.
- Administration of the Secondary School’s camps, trips and tours.
- Assistance with orientation events for Secondary School students.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Tertiary qualifications at a certificate level or equivalent qualifications is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
