Job description

We are seeking a motivated and professional individual who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast paced environment as the Administration Officer within AMHRU – Secure Extended Care Unit on the Sunshine Campus.

The administration role often has changing and competing demands - responsibilities include however not linmited to:

  • managing reception, 
  • clerical and data entry duties relating to the patient journey through the ward,
  • communicating with all relevantareas, 
  • providing mental Health Tribunal support to the clinicians in preparation for the hearings, 
  • facilitating bed allocations and the maintenance of patient medical records.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Well-developed communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise duties, work under pressure, and ability to adapt and be flexible to change
