The impact you'll have:

At the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC), we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.

As we embark on an exciting new chapter of growth, we need you to join us as an Administration Officer. In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team that is responsible for providing administrative support functions to all client facing teams across the Registry business unit.

Harnessing your administrative experience, you will carry out tasks including associating emails to WIC's electronic case administration management system (eCAMS), creating large file sharing links to distribute to stakeholders and managing team emails amongst other tasks.

Along with your strong communication and relationship building skills, you will bring your enthusiasm and high achievement drive to ensure that systems and processes work effectively.

Who we're looking for:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience operating in an administrative support capacity with exposure to a standard range of core administration, support services and systems.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and resolve basic enquiries where required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to deliver initial basic advice and exchange of information effectively in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to discretion and integrity; evidently trustworthy when in knowledge and possession of confidential and sensitive information and data.

For further information, please refer to our position description. [Link to PD]

Resolution matters. And so do you.

We're a stable, purpose-driven organisation that offers you meaningful work, a welcoming and vibrant team culture, and a range of benefits, including:

  • Competitive remuneration, plus generous allowances and reimbursements for study, wellbeing and home-office working.
  • More leave when you need it most - flexible leave arrangements tailored to you.
  • Access to our 24/7 holistic mental health and wellbeing program for you and your family.
  • A progressive and supportive work environment with experienced leaders who are invested in you.

Here are some of the things we hope you'll love about working with us:

As an Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting WIC to help injured workers and employers overcome some of the most challenging times of their lives.
