The day-to-day
ALS Geochemistry is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to support the operations of a fast-paced minerals preparation and analytical laboratory at our Malaga facility.
This is a Full-Time position, and the role's primary function is administration assistance utilizing MS Office suite products and the company's Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Initially, the position will include many entry-level duties, but the scope and complexity of the role will increase with experience and demonstrated skills.
The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday between business hours of 8 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility on start times. Free parking is also available on-site.
The Essentials
- A responsible and flexible attitude to your daily tasks and be able to operate well in a high-volume work area
- A proven ability to work well in a team environment and the willingness to use initiative towards the completion of given tasks
- Computer skills and experience with the MS Office suite
- Good alpha/numeric skills
- Strong language skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to collect, interpret and manage data efficiently and accurately
- A proven ability to retain large amounts of information is essential
- A hands-on attitude to a variety of tasks
- Customer service experience or aptitude
- Well presented with a friendly team manner
- Pronto experience is highly regarded
