We’re HDE Engineers (HDE). We deliver high quality, practical engineering solutions & project management, to Australian Local Governments, Power, Mining and Heavy Industries. We’re looking for a motivated Admin Officer, to enhance the organisation, communication and cooperation, between departments; and of course, our clients & suppliers.

About You
You would describe yourself as highly motivated, fun-loving yet professional and dependable with excellent administration skills and thrives in a professional team environment. You will enjoy the challenge of ‘finding a better way’ or, ‘overcoming a problem’ and be able to follow through, with documenting, coordinating, and executing processes.
You will need good experience in a similar role; great computer literacy, (especially with the Microsoft Office Suite); and be legally able to work full time at our office in Rockhampton, Queensland. Most importantly, you need passion, heart and pride in everything you do!
The Role
HDE’s has an opportunity for a full-time Administration Officer to join our team. The role will involve a wide variety of administration duties, requiring you to work both autonomously and as part of a HDE’s Administrative team.
Join a professional business that provides training and support to develop your career. The position is an office-based role that ensures that services are delivered to clients and provides support to Management, Engineering Teams, and Project Managers.
As an Administration Officer your role will involve but is not limited too;
- Providing support to Management, Design and Engineering Teams.
- Maintain company HSEQ system with monthly HSEQ audits.
- Review and communicate Project deliverables.
- Booking appointments, meetings and liaison with clients.
- Preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and documentation.
- Co-ordinate recruitment strategies for new team members.
Location
- This position is located at our Rockhampton Office, 18 Albert Street, Rockhampton QLD 4700.
Hours of Work
- 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday
- 7am to 1pm Friday
