Administration Officer
We are a small business based in Lismore CBD. We run multiple online websites. We pride ourselves on our friendly, professional customer support, both online and via phone. We offer a flexible workplace and are currently looking for an Administration Officer to join our friendly team.
The Administration Officer will answer enquiries from website members and assist them by problem solving any issues they have. They will be required to use the site content management system (CMS) and database. They will need to acquire a good working knowledge of all websites in order to answer phone and email enquiries.
- The position is permanent part-time, 9am to 3pm, 2 days per week (with the potential of increasing to more days, plus covering shifts when other staff are unavailable).
- The pay scale will be based on Level 3 Administration Officer + super.
- We are looking for an applicant willing to stay in the business long term.
- There may be opportunities for this role to develop further.
- There is flexibility to be able to work from home from time to time.

Selection Criteria:
1. Excellent oral and written communication skills including negotiation and conflict management skills.
2. High attention to detail and ability to exercise initiative with regards to problem solving and decision making.
3. Advanced computing skills including word-processing, mail, spreadsheets and web- based databases. Experience with or knowledge of Apple Mac systems desirable.
4. Experience in or commitment to providing a high level of customer service with a focus on diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality.
5. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
6. Demonstrated commitment to cultural diversity and equity in the workplace.

Key responsibilities:
1. Working with a wide range of duties within a Content Management System (CMS) with large databases.
2. Replying to emails. This constitutes a wide range of matters from answering general website enquiries to problem solving member issues and demonstrating to members how to navigate the websites. It also includes forwarding emails to the appropriate team member i.e. PR manager, Refunds Officer, Complaints Manager.
3. Answering phone calls, responding to voice mails and taking phone messages.
4. Engaging with other administrative staff in regular planning meetings according to the needs of each website.
5. Contributing to the improvement of the sites by analysing current systems and providing feedback on the functionality of the websites.
6. Editing/updating website content as necessary.
7. Corresponding with the IT team to problem solve website issues
8. Demonstrating a flexible approach to covering various administration tasks when team members are away.
9. Awareness of working within the current WHS framework
10. Willingness to work in an inclusive, child friendly workplace
