Overview:
CO2 Australia is Australia’s leading environmental services company and has been delivering projects nation-wide since 2004. We are a wholly Australian-owned environmental services and consultancy dedicated to providing solutions for our clients that maximise positive outcomes and minimise environmental impacts. We are looking for an experienced Administration Officer on a part-time basis (2 – 3 days per week) to support the CO2 Australia teams operations in our Brisbane office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality administrative support to day-to-day operations, and project support across CO2’s diverse range of environmental services.
- Assist with processing invoices, accounts, credit card reconciliation and purchase orders.
- Work with the team to prepare reports - including data entry, formatting, collation of PDFs and document packaging.
- Provide outstanding customer service representing CO2 and responding to company and landholder enquiries.
- Update CO2’s company website, monthly news articles and social media posts as relevant and directed.
- Manage schedule of staff movements such as travel, fieldwork, workshops, training and leave.
- Track and organise office inventory and reorder as needed.
- Maintain positive and beneficial relationships with clients, contractors, government agencies, service providers and staff.
Experience required
- A certification in Business Administration or other relevant qualification
- Proven experience (a minimum of 2 – 3 years) working in an office environment (experience within the environmental industry is highly desirable but not essential).
- A team player looking to make a real difference and impact who has strong administrative skills; is highly organised; communicates effectively at all levels; has high attention to detail; and strong data management skills.
- The workforce is national with multiple offices in Australia, so the ability to work with high levels of self-direction and problem-solving is essential.
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook).
