Government department tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Currently seeking a talented Administration Officer to join their busy team for an 18-month temporary assignment.
About the role:
As Administration Officer, you will provide operational and administrative support and may undertake some research and analysis activities. In addition, key duties include:
- Organise the team email inbox, calendars and appointments responding to team priorities and timeframes
- Research and respond to general enquiries and analysing documents and data
- Coordinate and prepare meeting minutes and papers.
- Support the drafting of written communications and managing documents and databases
- Organise travel and finance reconciliation
- Participate in project management work as directed, supporting the delivery of work priorities.
- Previous experience as an Administration Assistant in the disability, health, or aged care sectors
- Case Management background is a plus!
- Ability to engage with multiple stakeholder
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High organizational and time management skills
- ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
- 18-month temporary assignment
- Full time hours - Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day
- Chermside, QLD location
