The Role - Full Time position Monday - Friday 8am – 6pm
Some Saturday shifts available from 9.30am to 1.30pm
You will be responsible for effectively performing administration duties and delivering professional customer service to our patients, families, visitors, Doctors and hospital staff, responding to patient and Doctor queries and all administration duties associated with patient preadmissions, admission, discharges including health fund eligibility checks and reception duties.
The ideal candidate will have
- Preferred experience in the health service environment
- Preferred experience EMR Blue Chip, Medilink & Webpas
- Preferred experience with health fund eligibility checks and knowledge
- Excellent knowledge, skills and experience in the use of computer application such as Microsoft suite and highly developed data entry skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a high volume environment
