Administration Officer - Leasing
Are you an experienced Administration Officer with a background in leasing? We have an exciting short-term opportunity for you to join a local government team in the southern suburbs and hit the ground running!
Commencement: As soon as possible
Duration: Approximately 8-10 weeks (may be extended)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and computer literacy.
- Effective time management skills to handle conflicting demands and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Relevant qualification or experience in business administration, property, facility management, or related fields (e.g. real estate, legal administration).
- Valid C class drivers license.
- Police Clearance.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with TRIM and Local Government Authority is highly advantageous.
- Financial management skills, including budget management.
- Lease and Property Management expertise.
- Understanding of grant administration.
- Knowledge of State Government legislation as it applies to Local Government leasing.
- Previous experience in Property Management, including portfolio management, asset management, and lease administration.
- Qualification in business administration or equivalent experience.
