Foundation College
Foundation College is an independent school educating young people aged 15-18 who may have experienced barriers to learning. Foundation College offers Victorian Pathway Certificate as a pre-VCE option, as well as the VCE Vocational Major for years 11 and 12 on two campuses: Casey (Narre Warren) and Peninsula (Frankston).
Your Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within our newly formed Foundation College.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Administration Officer, for an ongoing part-time (0.8) position at our Casey campus.
Responsibilities
- Reception duties – greeting and directing visitors, answering calls and queries from parents and members of the community (including triaging queries to the appropriate contact).
- Routine clerical and administrative support - mail, stock control, calendar management, receiving and initial processing of school forms and paperwork.
- Liaise and provide information/support to community, students and staff.
- Record management and photocopying duties including filing.
- Assist with the maintenance of the student and family database.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Provide ad-hoc support to other staff within the school.
- Other duties as directed by the Principal or Business Manager.
Requirements.
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems, and software relevant to education settings. Eg: Compass.

Remuneration
Starting Salary $74,871 - $91,043 (FTE)
Conditions of Employment
- The appointment of the successful applicant will be made subject to satisfactory pre-employment conditions check.
- A probationary period may apply during the first year of employment and induction and support programs provided.
- Must hold a current WWC (Employee) Card.
- Willingness to work between both campuses.
