The role:
We are seeking a young, vibrant, and outgoing individual, who can think on their feet and is looking for an opportunity to grow with our dynamic HFH Auto group Administration team. This is an incredible opportunity to develop your skills and experience under the mentorship of the Senior Accounts Officer as you take on shared responsibility for the Accounts Payable functions within a medium, long-standing, and highly experienced team.
The successful applicant will fill a role which encompasses all facets of an Accounts Officer, responsibilities will include but not limited to.
Accounts Payable
- Processing supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Processing EFT payments including prompt and 30 day accounts.
- Supplier creation and maintenance
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
- Monthly review of outstanding purchase orders with follow up of those over 60days old.
- Managing queries from suppliers, dealerships, and staff.
- Sorting, sending, and receiving email communication.
- Processing staff reimbursements on a weekly basis
- Uploading of bank files through ANZ Transactive
- Maintain aged trial balance on a monthly basis
- Back up to other Administration staff members as required.
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable however not essential
- An ability and willingness to learn new processes and systems quickly
- Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- A positive attitude, be self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic
