Form of workAn exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Medical Typist to join the Administration Services Team at the Bundaberg or Maryborough Hospitals within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:
- To provide an efficient medical transcription service along with a range of valuable support duties as directed within the Health Information Services Department
- This position also will provide accurate and timely records of important and significant documents and correspondence to support clinical care.
Temporary Full Time (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment until 30th June 2024 with the possibility of extension.
From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB). Our offer:
You will receive salary between $2,864.10 - $3,185.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (Temporary Full Time, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment until 30th June 2024, with the possibility of extension) (Applications will remain current for duration of the vacancy).
