Skin Patrol is a recently acquired market leading company. We provide skin cancer screening to metropolitan, rural and regional communities across Australia and are passionate about detecting melanomas and other skin cancers early enough that they don't get in the way of us living our most fulfilled life.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Administration Assistant will be tasked with a range of duties, but primarily will receive all incoming calls, action them as required which will include changing booking times, adding patients to notifications lists and directing calls to staff as required. The role includes logistical planning of clinics throughout Australia. This role will also involve working as a medical technician when required, which involves organising and managing clinics, bookings, schedules, travel and accommodation as needed. You will meet and greet patients, check them in, setup equipment and complete paperwork. You may also be asked to take photos of skin cancers/lesions, and at times be present in the clinic room to chaperone patients. The role will be a combination of undertaking your work from home or in the Skin Patrol head office (located in Brisbane CBD).
This role is a full time permanent hybrid role 9am - 5pm: Monday - Friday. The successful applicant must be an independent thinker, solution focussed and able to work independently, responding to the needs of the business on a consistent and timely basis. The majority of the head office is virtual based and you will need to be comfortable engaging with all team members in a remote setting. No two days are the same, so you will thrive on variety in a developing and evolving environment in which you will be comfortable creating your own structure.
Your responsibilities will consist of:
- Answering enquiries via email and phone
- Escalating enquiries to clinical/management staff for resolution
- Assisting senior leadership team as required
- Identifying and implementing administrative process improvement opportunities
- Logistical planning of clinics including staffing, travel, accommodation
- Use of Best Practice and Dermengine software platforms
- Developing process documents to support staff and ensure consistency.
- Purchasing equipment and consumables (in person or online) when directed
- Engaging with personnel including staff, contractors, clients and medical professionals
- Coordinating equipment handover for casual staff and contractors.
