About the Role:
Our Townsville Branch is looking for an Administration Officer to cover our reception tasks, general branch administration and support our service department. This role offers an opportunity for you to use your existing skills and learn new ones.
About you: You will have great energy, tenacity and be a highly organised person. You’re not an ordinary Administration Officer, you thrive on thinking inventively and commercially to drive the business growth and performance through our customers. You constantly look for better ways to do things and embrace an environment where challenging the status quo is encouraged.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
Be the first point of contact and “the face of the branch” assisting customers and connecting them with the right person/department.
Perform general administrative/reception duties including phone and email enquiries.
Provide administrative support to the Service Department including raising job orders, invoicing, scheduling, booking jobs in, follow up, data entry and record keeping.
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
Strong administration background from a relevant industry would be desirable.
Proven ability to build relationships with customers, fellow work colleagues and management.
Strong Computer skills including extensive systems knowledge.
Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills with the ability to think on your feet.
