Christadelphian Aged Care is a respected and trusted not for profit aged care provider that has been serving the community for more than 70 years. About the role
As the Administration Officer for the Retirement Village, you are responsible and accountable for the day-to-day activities of the office, ensuring that administrative and reception services are provided to residents, visitors and staff. As the Administration Officer you will be a support person for the Village Manager and perform all clerical duties professionally and with a minimum of supervision.
You will provide dynamic customer service and build strong relationships with staff, residents and visitors.
As a member of the Christadelphian team, you will perform in accordance with Christadelphian Aged Care Policies and Procedures. You will operate within a model of a professional and ethical framework.
Key responsibility:
Demonstrated experience of providing excellent front line customer service with the below reception duties.
- Implement a service culture ensuring service commitments are met.
- Support the delivery of services to residents, families, management and staff.
- Dynamic customer service abilities with excellent communication skills.
- You will perform all administration duties in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide timely and effective administrative support.
- Attend reception duties including telephone answering, photocopying, printing, emailing and other clerical duties.
- Maintenance of a filing and archive system including document control.
Essential Criteria:
The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the mission and values of Christadelphian Aged Care and needs to the meet the following criteria:
- The ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in admin duties.
- Experience in aged care or hospital environment also an advantage.
- Dynamic communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
- Able to converse with the elderly.
- Computer literate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Right to Work is essential.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination.
